FIRM LEADERSHIP
Idan Naor (b. 1981) is the founding member and principal of INWORKSHOP. He is a Registered Architect in New York State, NCARB-certified for licensure across the United States, and a member of the American Institute of Architects. Additionally, he is a licensed real estate agent in New York State.
Throughout his career, Idan has honed his expertise at renowned firms such as Skidmore Owings & Merrill LLP, Scape Landscape Architecture PLLC, Rogers Marvel Architects PLLC, and Rogers Partners Architects PLLC. During this time, he contributed to a wide range of large-scale projects, including the ground-up construction of a notable Class-A building spanning approximately 100,000 square feet.
Idan holds a B.A. in Economics and History from Brown University and a Master of Architecture degree from Columbia University. At Columbia, he was recognized with the prestigious Lucille Smyser Lowenfish Memorial Prize and the Honor Award for Excellence in Design upon graduation.
Beyond leading INWORKSHOP, Idan finds fulfillment in academia. When time permits, he teaches architectural design studios and serves as an invited jury critic at esteemed institutions such as City Tech, Columbia University, CUNY, NJIT, Parsons, and Pratt.
